On a full charge, the MINI Countryman ALL4 PHEV has an EPA estimated 73 MPGe, with 17 miles of all-electric range and combined range of 300 miles. Regenerative braking is incorporated to permit the flow of energy back into your MINI while you drive. You can select your preferred driving mode whether it be drive all-electric, solely with the gasoline engine, or a blend of electric and gasoline.

Just as with any other car, weather and other environmental conditions can affect the MINI  Countryman PHEV. Extreme cold and hot temperatures may impact the driving range. Battery life is typically unaffected by typical weather conditions.

While the car will take up to about 2 ½ hours to fully charge using a Level 2 EVSE, the driver typically only needs about 7 seconds to plug in and then unplug freeing the remaining time to go about their daily routine.

You can charge your MINI Countryman PHEV at home with the Level 1 charging cord that comes with your MINI—you just need a standard three-prong outlet. A Level 2 EVSE home charger can charge the car faster. If you find yourself needing to recharge while you’re out, you can use one of the 19,000+ current public charging stations available with more being added every day. You can use your MINI app or the in-car navigation system to locate all the public charging stations available to you while you’re on the road too.

Your MINI comes with a Level 1 charging cord that does not require any special equipment, just a standard three-prong outlet. For faster charging, an EVSE or wallbox can deliver a faster charge at your home or workplace. On the road, public charging can be utilized.

Electricity costs for your MINI Countryman PHEV will typically cost about 1/3 of what it would cost for an equivalent gasoline model. Since all drivers will have different driving experiences, it is easy to calculate your average cost by multiplying your cost of electricity per kWh by the amount you are charging in kW. When driving short distances and using only the all-electric mode, electricity will be the most cost efficient. For longer trips, you will need to fill the tank with gasoline as well, so the costs will be a blend of the gasoline and electric costs.
